Our Return Policy

Due to the fact that our weighted items are customized to specific customer orders and used in a personal way, we will only accept returns based on the following:

  • The weighted item has not been used.
  • It is shipped back to Hippo Hug within two weeks of you receiving it and you have contacted info@hippohug.ca upon receipt to notify them of the issue and they have authorized return

Please note:

  • A refund will be issued only on the cost of the weighted item, not the shipping fee.
  • There will be a 20% restocking fee.
  • Refunds will only be issued after we receive the weighted item and its condition inspected. Weighted items that have dirt/stains on them, smell like cigarette smoke or other strong household odors, have been washed or put in the dryer will automatically not be accepted upon return for a refund.

Non-medical face masks:

  • All masks and face coverings are non-refundable and non-returnable.
  • Please get in touch with Hippo Hug if you are experiencing an issue with your masks and we will do our best to help.

Chewlery:

  • Is non-refundable.

Important information about items for pick up:

    • Any item that is not picked up within 6 months of the order will be donated to a local charity, no refunds or returns will be issued for items not picked up.
