Hippo Hug has a variety of masks styles, like pleated, oragami and fitted. What you may not know is we have multiple ways you can order them to make them easier to wear. This include simple cloth ties, elastics around the head, elastic ear loops, cinched ties with toggles or a combination of options. (by special request only).
Since standard ear loops on masks are often uncomfortable, in this video we show you how to use the cinched ties that are an option for your Hippo Hug Oragami or Fitted Cotton Face Masks.

Why Cinched Ties?
First, there are lots people who find that the elastic straps on a face mask that loop behind the ears are uncomfortable. This is because they pull or rub on their ears or, for many who wear glasses cause them to fall off.
There is also the issue that there is no standard elastic length that is comfortable for all. For some people with larger heads a common amount of elastic isn’t enough and the mask ends up tight on the face and ears, while those with smaller heads small the elastic too loose to hold the masks on properly.
To solve the problem of fit we have used a simple method using a cord, channel and toggle. This makes it easy for anyone in your household to use the masks. Using the Cinch Tie on a Face Mask is a simple as placing the mask’s bottom time over your head and then securing the top tie by pinching the toggle and sliding it down the cords.
This option is available when you purchase Origami or Fitted Masks. Simply select the “Cinched Ties” options from the drop down menu.
